After all the reasoning, engineering, philosophizing and alchemy, surrounding bits, the only way to know if a bit is going to work for a horse is to put it in his mouth and try it. Of course, you think "Sure, Andy. I buy a bit, try it, then buy another bit. With the price of bits today it'll be a mortgage payment before I find the right bit!" I may be in the business of selling bits, but I'd rather sell bits that work for the horses that they were bought for. That's why Coachman's Delight has generous bit trial, purchase and trade in policy.
Purchase a bit from Coachman's Delight and give it a try on your horse. If it doesn't work out, return the bit in it's original condition with in 14 days for a full refund.
Of course, it might not be clear right away if the bit works, and you might want to have a slightly longer trial period. No problem! You may return the bit between 14 and 45 days and still receive up 80% of the purchase price in store credit less a $15 handling fee.
After 45 days, or if the bit shows teeth marks, is significantly discolored or other wear, it is considered a used bit. That bit is still valuable to Coachman's Delight and our customers, so we will still give you customer credit for it. In fact, you might have a bit or two in your barn that you can't use anymore. You can trade that bit in for credit towards another bit or any other purchase at Coachman's Delight. Here's how the used bits are credited:
Used Bit Policies

Bits that won't be accepted for trade in:

Please contact us before mailing any bits for trade in so that we may discuss them before they are mailed.
